Grand Lake was not the kind gentle lake we are used to fishing this weekend. All the high water and rescheduling has multiple events stacked on top of each other to the point of frustration. Once again the Angler Nation members showed up and competed on a high level to finish another successful visit to the Grand Lake O' The Cherokees..
George Toalson and Tom Haynes took the honors with 5 fish 18.63 .

I cannot even begin to tell you how windy it was out there today. It has been many years since I fought the wind like that. Oh by the way if you find a $100 bill blowing down Highway 85 its mine !!
Just kidding it was really that bad !
Congratulations to Zack Coffee and Joe Duranal on their Grand Lake win. They took the top spot with a 5 fish total weight of 18.52 that included a big fish of 4.44 lbs. Todd Robinson and Luke Thomas were right there with 16.56 and a 4.90 big fish.
Joel Clark and Matt Salyer brought in the big fish that topped the charts at 6.88 lbs.
We are so grateful that everyone had a safe day and returned home safe and sound. Looking forward to our next event on Fort Gibson April, 29 2017..
